Musings of Lost Souls

These are the stories of those folks that have never had their fifteen minutes. They go to the Serendipity whenever they want something. Just around the corner...down the block...through the alley, Serendipity is always nearby. Just ask for Phae he's the owner/bartender. As you opened the door and entered through the portal...

Casey's Perogative (Casey, peacock)

Casey had been busing the tables in a section of the bar behind the 'barman'. As such she had been witness to the beginnings of the confrontation between he and this...peacock. All went well until the 'peacock' chose to take up arms to win back his savaged pride. Phae had instructed Casey to leave matters to sort themselves out until such time as one side took advatage that the other may not be able to sustain.

Casey felt certain that the 'barman' held in waiting more armour then could easily be confiscated, yet the brandishing of weapons of any type was strictly and knowingly forbidden to all who crossed the threshhold into Serendipity.

Moving with the speed of thought Casey placed herself facing the peacock, her person emitting a light reminiscent of that at the end of the tunnel. No harm would befall any patron of Serendipity for as long as Phae requested Casey prevent it.

The near instantaneous appearance of Casey, momentarily froze the 'peacock'. Glancing at Phae, behind the bar, Casey registered his nod signifiying hers was the correct tact.

Regaining his wits the 'peacock' thrust his metallic courage at Casey's breast hoping to wound her enough to send a message but not in a fatal manner. Much to his chagrin rather then the expected penetration of the blade he beheld it shatter into pieces such that the pommel now rested against her intensely glowing skin.

"I beleieve that makes it time for you to leave" Casey replied glancing down at her amply glowing breast. Reaching down slightly, a motion that moments ago would have be upward, Casey relieved 'peacock' of his now precarious perchase upon the floors of Serendipity, held him before her facing the door so he could open it and gently tossed headlong onto the sidewalk across the street.

"Don't come back until you've cooled down a bit." Casey advised.

As the portal closed 'peacock' would have sworn that he saw the image of an 8-9 foot tall figure brandishing twin swords of flame as she that had thrown him out.
'Must have hit my head' he finally decided.
