The Fare, part negy (Shaera)
"Phillip?"
"Yes Sheara?" he replied trying to keep one eye on traffic and the other on his beautifully pale passenger.
"Do you think I'm attractive?"
"You're not hard on the eyes, that's for sure." he reponded grinning through the remark.
"Aahhh, our next stop." Sheara said as Phillip braked the taxi stopping i the midst of traffic halted for a reasons unkown at the moment. "I won't be but a minute." she offered as she exited the cab.
Out of curiosity Phillip also got out to see what was tying up traffic. He was able to see as Sheara picked her way easily through the traffic and pedestrians filling the street. Stopping at the scene of what appeared to Phillip to have been a pretty serious accident she surveyed the situation and began to make her way to each and every one of the individuals stretched out on the ground in various stages of triage. At each she stopped and looked to talk to each for a moment and then made her way to the next.
Apparently satisfied with whatever her point was in the exercise she again picked her way through the many obstacles in the street finally gliding up nest to Phillip, who had lost sight of her and was caught off guard be her appearance as if from nowhere.
"There's been an accident."
"I can see that. What were you doing?"
"I was helping them with their pain. Let me help you."
Phillip quickly experienced his sixth "little death" of the day and immediately felt more relaxed and at ease, but at the same time slightly fatigued.
"Thank you Phillip. You always are so good to me."
